JMcC Web Design

World Wide Web Standards

In 1994, Tim Berners Lee, the creator of the World Wide Web, created The World Wide Web Consortium. W3C has since published over 90 web standards, which have been created in order to allow the WWW to be utilised to its full potential. These standards allow "Web interoperability", allowing fundemental hardware and software technologies to work together in order to make the WWW accessible to every one!
